Effect of Capule Antibact in Immunocompromised patients of topical infections and allergies. A Clinical study.
Introduction
These days more and more people are suffering with diseases like Asthma, allergic rhinitis, dermatitis and other infective conditions of skin, as the capacity to fight against allergen & microorganisms is severely reduced, at the same time excessive and repeated use of newer anti-allergic and antibiotics also plays important role in disturbing body’s immunity. So there is need for a drug that improves body’s immunity. So there is need for a drug that improves body’s internal defense system.
A Clinical study was conducted in 53 patients of topical infections & allergies, their age ranging 16 – 50 yrs. The diseases considered for the trial were URT infection, Asthma and dermatitis (allergic/ infectious) Diagnosis was done on the basis of their history, clinical manifestations, course of illness and relapse of symptoms. The medicine Capsule Antibact (Rudraksha Ayurved Pvt.Ltd. Jabalpur) was given for the period of three weeks, in doses of one Capsule thrice daily.
RESULTS
The selected 53 patients were classified into three groups.
* Asthma patients in group - A
* URT infection patients in group - B
* Dermatitis patients in group - C
Group - A
Response in 14 patients of Asthma, the Cap. Antibact was given with main drugs, there was good improvement in general condition patients, in addition it was observed that wheezing & shortness of breath was greatly relieved.

Group B
Response in 24 URT infection ( sinusitis & tonsillitis) patients, there was highly significant improvement in rhinorrhoea, snezzing, headache and tonsillar swelling.

Response in 16 Dermatitis ( allergic & infective) patients, there was highly significant improvement in rashes, itching and there was no relapse even after discontinuation of the drug.

Conclusion
The Cap. Antibact has a definate role in alleviating clinical features probably by improving the body’s natural immunity and normalizing the internal environment. Hence with above data it can be concluded that Cap Antibact is a potent immunostimulant and adaptogen.
