Effect of Capule Amblica Forte in patients of Weakened Sexual Functions and Oligoasthenospermia. A Clinical Report :
Introduction :
The state of Oligospermia is rapidly growing in society, about 50 years ago infertility was predominately a female problem, when average Sperm count was 113 milli / ml of semen. But now male partners are responsible in more than 40% of infertile couple and the average sperm count also come down to 66 milli/ ml of Semen. Even the percentage of functionally sterile male ( count < 20 milli/ml) increased five times. Similarly the sexual potency also decreased. Main reasons behind these ailments are faulty eating habits, sedentary life style, stress and bad conduct. A clinical trial was undertaken on 40 diagnosed patients of various Weakened Sexual functions and Idiopathic Oligoasthenospermia. Most of the patients had come with the evidence of Premature ejaculation, Loss of Libido, Erectile dysfunction etc. Their depicted history, general clinical features along with Semen analysis was also done for a comprehensive diagnosis and to ensure the exact nature of drug, it was found that almost all the patients with Weakened Sexual Function have some Semenolgical deficiencies.
MATERIAL AND METHOD
Ayurvedic medicine used for the trial was Cap. AMBLICA FORTE (Rudraksha Ayurved Pvt.Ltd.,-Jabalpur)
Its ingredients are - Ashwagandha 200mg.
Amalaki 200mg.
Safed Musli 200mg.
Vidari Kand 200mg.
The 40 selected patients were given Cap. AMBLICAFORTE in doses of two Cap. Twice daily, for a period of three months (90 days). Along with it dietary regimen and hygienic measures were also adviced. At the end of the 90 days all the parameters were repeated and compared.

CONSLUSION
The drug Cap AMBLICAFORTE significantly enhance the coital time and reduces coital fatigue Relieves from general weakness, stress and improves overall performance. Results on Semen parameter suggests that the drug significantly increases Sperm conc. and Sperm motility.
Thus the Cap AMBLICAFORTE is very good Semenopoietic, Semenogogue and Aphrodiciac, So very useful in treating androgenic ailments like Oligospermia, Asthenospermia so also in Premature ejaculation loss of Libido and Potency.
