EFFECT OF RUDRALIV IN CHILDREN WITH LIVER DISORDERS

Infective Hepatitis, Non-Specific Hepatitis, Drug induced hapato toxicity, are common liver diseases seen in day to day practice.  Herbal preparation containing hepato protective ingredients are found to be useful adjuvant.

PATIENTS & METHOD

Total No. of cases were 105 Cases comprised of both sexes.  Age of the children ranged from 2 to 12 years.  Patients included had liver disorders of varied etiology.  “RUDRALIV” syrup was given One tsf. tds as an adjuvant therapy and follow up was done to assess the efficacy, tolerance, and side effects.

RESULT

There was remarkable improvement in all cases.  All group of children tolerated “RUDRALIV” well.  Improvement in appetite was specially noticed.  Complete recovery was seen in 70% of cases, rest of the cases required longer therapy.  No side effects were observed.  The taste was acceptable.

CONCLUSION

“RUDRALIV”  when used in children with liver disorders, the symptoms disappeared faster.  Appetite was regained and there were no side effects.  Hence ‘RUDRALIV’  is every useful adjuvant in various liver disorders in children.
